Stickfish Named Sun Partner of 2008 for x64 Systems
Stickfish, s. r. o., has been recognised by the Czech branch of Sun Microsystems as being one of the best business partners of 2008. I was presented with the SUN PARTNER OF 2008 award for its sales of x86 products.
In 2008, Stickfish delivered 134 servers, 193 virtual desktops, 104 WMware licences, and 7 storage systems. “We came close to CZK 27 million of turnover last year,“ said Filip Korbel, Stickfish CEO. Stickfish solutions are often sought by clients from educational institutions who can currently enjoy the Get a Server for Free programme, as well as by small and medium businesses.
New important customers in the area of Sun Microsystems products include IGNUM, Netbox, Makedonian Telecom in Greece, SMP CZ, and others. Stickfish also deployed Raydesk or Sun Ray 2 virtual desktops for clients including Datart, VF Czech, CEPS, University of Pardubice, Mendel University of Agriculture and Forestry in Brno, Municipal Library in Prague, or the Occupational Safety Research Institute.
