Invitation to VDI Workshop

Let us invite you to a brief workshop about a current topic of particular interest to all ICT professionals and even more so to economists. The workshop will take place on September 30, 2009 and its aim is to introduce you to the issue of virtual desktops (previously known as thin clients) and to the benefits this modern system offers.

The prices of energy in the Czech Republic have grown by many per cent in recent years. Given the trend of leveling prices within the EU, their further growth is inevitable. The enormous costs of energy production are necessarily reflected in today's firm IT policies and IT operation costs. The majority of modern thinking managers and economists realize this.

The costs of administering, maintaining, and most of all repairing damage on user PC's grow unbearable and PC producers' technical support prolongs the time needed to restore user PC's to operational order.

the list price of IT equipment, namely of regular office PC's, is but a fraction of their total price
virtual desktops allow administrators to modify individual profiles or whole groups of users at the same time and from one place
