Protective Gear Producer Replaced PCs with VDI from Stickfish

INZEP CENTRUM, s. r. o., producer of work clothes and a supplier of a complete range of personal work protective gear, has switched to a virtual desktop infrasctructure from Sun Microsystems.

The company's seat had been hit by flooding and suffered considerable damage to IT equipment. Through cooperation with Stickfish, Sun Ray virtual desktops have been selected as the most economically advantageous solution. Energy savings calculations and the senseless costs of maintaining and administering conventional PCs with MS Windows proved to be among the decisive factors in choosing to replace regular PCs with Sun Ray virtual desktops.

it is but a small VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure) realisation from Stickfish but it supports the trend to save costs and explore new possibilities in desktop infrastructure operation, even in SMBs.
