Stickfish Finalised Delivery of Terminal Solutions for Datart Cash Registers
Prague, December 16, 2009 - Stickfish, specialising in VDI technologies, sucessfully finalised the delivery of terminal solutions based on Sun Ray 2s for all cash registers in Datart stores. Overall, Datart took delivery of 700 pieces in all of its Czech and Slovak stores.
Virtual displays service exclusively the cash registers in Datart. A certification for eight external devices, such as cash registers, printers, or barcode readers, had been completed as a part of the order.
The main reasons for this deployment include low power consumption of the Sun Ray 2 displays (only 4 W as opposed to 150 W in regular PCs), lower price (40% compared to desktop PCs), ease of use, and virtually zero maintenance costs for the end-user workstations.
