Stickfish announced financial results for 2009
The growth in turnover and revenue of all Stickfish divisions is seen as particularly favourable in the time of a financial crisis which has gripped the Czech market last year.
Prague, 27 January, 2010 — Stickfish, a company specialising in the Linux and UNIX technologies, has announced its financial results for the fiscal year 2009 which had concluded on 31 December, 2009. Stickfish has achieved a year-on-year overall turnover growth of 23%, with the turnover for 2009 being CZK 35 mil. The biggest contribution to the overall turnover came from the division that also develops the Raydesk virtual desktop.
Raydesk, which provides a complete solution of a virtual enterprise desktop, contributed significantly to the overall turnover of the Technologies group. The entire ICT Technology group has achieved almost CZK 25 mil. turnover. Especially the delivery of a solution to Datart consisting of almost 700 Sun Ray terminals proved to be a key factor for the division in the area of desktop sales.
The 64bit.eu e-shop and the technically oriented Internet portals AbcLinuxu.cz and ITBiz.cz have contributed almost CZK 10 mil. to the overall turnover of the company.
