Interview with Minister of Information Technologies
Current head of the Ministry of Information Technologies of the Czech Republic, Mr. Vladimír Mlynář, will answer questions from our readers in an on-line interview on 11-15. from 11:00 on AbcLinuxu.cz.
Are you curious as to what is the minister's stance on GNU/Linux, Free Software, and Open Source? Would you like to know answers to questions concerning the use of free software in state administration? Is it even possible in current political and economical climate in the Czech Republic? Why don't the state administration institutions use open formats that do not discriminate users of non/MS browsers, and office software. Is Mr. Mlynář's ministry competent to enforce such things? And if not, what can they do about it?
