Stickfish at INVEX
Stickfish s.r.o. (in cooperation with Sun Microsystems Czech) announced its program and schedule for the 15th INVEX - the communication and information technology fair. Among the highlights of the Stickfish booth will be new servers and workstations from Sun, a powerful graphical desktop for thin clients, fully localized for Czech users, a new Linux liveCD, and special deals for selected products.
Sun Hardware
New Sun x64 servers with AMD Opteron CPUs will be offered at the Stickfish booth starting at Kč 19.800. Visitors will also be invited to learn about a new server series Galaxy that was introduced in September, and Sun Ultra 20 workstations.
SF KIOSK
A Crystal disk 2005 candidate, this fast and powerful Czech desktop has been designed for Sun Ray thin clients. It can, however, run on other platforms as well. At the base of the comfortable user interface there is an open source window manager and carefully prepared configuration and administration tools. The environment is fully localized, and it offers an economically efficient and at the same time secure solution of a workstation desktop. The Citrix and Tarantella technologies ensure the possibility of working with Windows applications, which makes the SF KIOSK a truly universal product.
ABC Linux 2005
The fair will be a witness to an introduction of an enhanced version of our Linux distribution that can be run directly from a CD. The goal of the distribution is to equip beginners for an easy start with this free operating system. ABC Linux 2005 does not need to be installed, it can run from a CD-ROM, or a DVD-ROM drive. Not only will the CD contain a number of very useful software packages, it will also feature an entire archive of the abclinuxu.cz information portal. An enormous database of articles, discussions, and hardware records will put a wealth of Linux information at your fingertips.

Professional meetings and presentations will feature live demonstrations of some of the basic features of the Sun Microsystems products, and our own GUI solution called SF KIOSK. We will also be happy to introduce a new portal LinuxBizWorld.cz. The portal will function as the up until now missing source of information, analysis, and studies about enterprise Linux.
