Stickfish – technologies
Stickfish represents the best blend of a System Integrator (SI) and a Value Added Reseller (VAR). Our solutions are based primarily on products from Sun Microsystems, VMWare, Red Hat, Oracle, and Juniper. We develop our own solution for a fast and a highly secure virtual enterprise desktop, Raydesk. We operate the 64bit.biz, AbcHost.cz, and AbcFirewall.cz e-shops. We provide our enterprise customers with sets services called ManagedLINUX and ManagedUNIX which include administration and maintenance services for Linux and Unix solutions. We were named the Partner of the Year 2007 by Sun Microsystems in the field of x64-x86 systems, and the TOP Partner of the Year 2007 by the international distributor DNSint/Arrow in the field of x64.
Raydesk
Since 2004, we have been developing and delivering a software product called Raydesk. It is an advanced solution for enterprise virtual desktop. Central administration of all user workspaces ensures significant cost savings. The desktop only allows users to access selected applications on the basis of their profile, and facilitates seamless integration of applications regardless of their installation locations or supported operating systems. When combined with the maintenance-free Sun Ray virtual desktops we make eco-computing happen in real practice – operational consumption starts at the unique value of 4 Watts. We are the biggest Sun Ray experts in the Czech Republic. Our customers include ČEPS, State Environmental Fund, Occupational Safety Research Institute, Municipal Library in Prague, Wood Science Institute at Mendel University of Agriculture and Forestry, and Prague City Hall.

ManagedLINUX and ManagedUNIX are sets of services for enterprise customers which include administration and maintenance services of Linux and Unix solutions. Non-stop availability of network infrastructures (24 hours per day, 7 days per week, and 365 days per year) is one of the basic requirements of enterprise customers. Any communication or availability outage causes not only complications but more often than not direct financial losses. The high level of services we provide and our acquired responsibility thus demand the highest level of commitment to our warranties and support. Responsibility for further development of service relationships is a challenge and a long-term obligation for all companies.
Other Services
Our team of experts is capable of realising orders in the field of high performance computing (HPC), identity management, and security. We are a company that supplies top technologies to customers in research and education. We supplied the grid solution for the only tokamak in the Czech Republic. We have rich experience from working with many open source tools and we are able to provide both consultation and subsequent administration services. We offer trainings for administrators of the Solaris operating system or the Tomcat Java application server.

We have been the fastest growing Sun Partner Advantage partner and Red Hat partner in the Czech Republic since 2005 and we continue this trend. For two years, during which the market has seen many changes and developments of requirements in the area of security, we have been one of the top sellers of the Juniper Networks security solutions in the area of firewalls, IDPs, and routers. We are an important part of the VMware VIP Partner Program and we also supply Oracle database products. We closely cooperate with the international distributor DNSint/Arrow in the area of technologies and education of selected market segments.
