The Prague Stock Exchange (BCPP) has deployed the latest version of the VMware View 4.5 virtual desktop environment. The entire project was realized by Stickfish, the specialist on VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure) technologies. Desktop virtualization offers significantly better security in comparison to regular PCs.

Stickfish, a leading specialist in VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure) technologies, introduces a new version of the multiplatform virtual desktop environment, Raydesk. It brings improvements in system functionality and a significantly better user experience. One of the new functions is, for example, the Menu Driven Desktop which enables users to drag & drop menu items to the desktop or to a designated area on the panel.

This version brings 3D graphics acceleration, interactive installer, full system integration, multiple keymaps support and bug fixes.

Prague, November 6 2008 – Stickfish, s. r. o., supplied stores of the consumer electronics chain Datartu with a terminal solution based on the Sun Ray 2 thin clients. 70 pieces were supplied as a part of the pilot project, with 700 pieces overall planned for all Czech and Slovak stores.
